MAN UNITED LAUNCH £26M BID FOR JUVENTUS MIDFIELDER CLAUDIO MARCHISIO

Marchisio
Old Trafford side set to make big money offer for Italian international.
Man United are said to be set to launch a big money bid for Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio according to Italian source Correre dello Sport.
David Moyes seems keen to bring in a fresh central midfield option and having seemingly failed in his efforts to bring in Thiago Alcantara and then Cesc Fabregas the Scot has now turned to Italian international Marchisio and is set to offer €30m (£26.2m) for the 27 year old but one wonders if Antonio Conte will entertain any offers for such a pivotal figure in his squad.
Marchisio made 36 starts in all competitions last term and was a key performer in Juventus’s back to back Serie A title triumphs and as such would presumably not be a player made available for sale this summer.
The box to box performer is an excellent distributor of the ball and has a tendency to be on hand to score regularly and often nets crucial goals, racking up 22 goals in the past three seasons and could be seen by Moyes as an ideal replacement for Paul Scholes, who has of course retired for a second time.
Conte has invested well to boost his attack, bringing in Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente and will surely see Marchisio as one of the most adept players to help link midfield and attack in his side next term
.

Rooney Chelsea
Stamford Bridge side significantly raise offer for Old Trafford forward.
Chelsea are set to make a £40m offer for Man United striker Wayne Rooney according to theIndependent.
Having seen an earlier bid of £27m turned down Jose Mourinho is ready to make a sizable increase on his opening bid in the hope that this may persuade Man United to sell the England international to a Premier League rival, a move that may or may not prove successful.
It’s clear that the relationship between Man United and Wayne Rooney is strained and one wonders if the damage done is repairable and if not then it seems likely that the Old Trafford side would seek to cash-in on Rooney but with there bound to be interest from the continent it seems highly unlikely Man United would entertain the notion of selling to the Stamford Bridge side.
Jose Mourinho hopes to have Rooney leading the Stamford Bridge line next season, seemingly preferring this option to using the likes of Fernando Torres, Romelu Lukaku and Demba Ba.
Rooney was used in a withdrawn striking role last term to accommodate Robin Van Persie’s arrival and comments made by David Moyes suggest that the former Everton man may only be used in a back-up role and this could well fuel the Man United striker’s desire to leave as soon as possible.
Signing Wayne Rooney would be a major statement of intent from Chelsea and would ably assist Mourinho’s push for a more suitable striker to spearhead an attack that would, in theory, see creative talents Juan Mata, Eden Hazard and Oscar providing the ammunition for the England international.

SHOCKING: Man Scales Fence To Have S*X With Mad Woman (PHOTO)

21-year-old Lateef Sulaiman has been arrested by Officials of the Lagos State Government for allegedly scaling a 14-feet fence to gain entrance into the Lagos State Rehabilitation and Training Centre, Majidun area of Ikorodu, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, to have s*x with a mad woman.

Sulaiman was
said to have jumped into the female dormitory around 9.30 p.m. recently and had s*x with a deranged woman before he was arrested and handed over to the taskforce at Alausa.
In his confessional statement at the taskforce headquarters, Sulaiman allegedly said he had had s*x with a mad woman at the rehabilitation centre on five occasions before his arrest, saying that he knew where the female dormitory was because he had gone to the centre in the past to seek employment and had thoroughly studied the environment.
He was arraigned at the Special Offences Court, Alausa in Ikeja for his alleged offence
Sulaiman was slammed with a four-count charge. In the first count charge, he was said to have scaled the 14-feet fence of the rehabilitation home and slept with a  mentally ill inmate and thus committed an offence punishable under the laws of Lagos State.
Having pleaded not guilty, he was granted bail in the sum of N50, 000 with two sureties who must be civil servants and present evidence of tax payment for five years.
Sulaiman could not meet the bail conditions and was remanded at the Badagry Prison.
Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth and Social Development, Dr. Dolapo Badru, lamented that there is a lot of satanic rituals going on in the society, wondering what could have made a young man scale the fence to sleep with a mad woman.
“It is this same satanic ritual that makes a herbalist to tell a man to bring the private part of somebody to be used for rituals without killing the person in order to get rich,” he said.
He said it is senseless and baseless for a man to want to sleep with a mad woman, thinking that his fortune in life would change for the better.
According to him, the only thing such a bizarre act could do to a man was to make him contract deadly diseases.
“This act is simply part of the activities of ritualists and a way to get money in a quick means. The case is in court,” he said.

United preparing RECORD third bid for Fabregas

United's persistence comes from repeated positive contact with Fabregas' camp, and the understanding that he would be open to a move in the event of Barcelona accepting a bid.
United sources have told ESPN that manager David Moyes had been considering his next move - including weighing up the possibility of moving on to one of three alternative options, one of whom is Real Madrid's Luka Modric - and decided to continue the pursuit of Fabregas.
United have now put together a package believed to be worth around £40m, comprising a £35m basic fee plus add-ons. That would not just represent the symbolically high offer that could make acceptance more palatable for Barcelona, it would also ensure the Catalans made a significant profit on the fee they paid to Arsenal in 2011.
With Barca also intent on signing an world class centre-back this summer, United hope the Primera Division champions' desire to boost the transfer kitty will further leverage the situation their way.
Thus far, though, Barcelona have adopted a hardline view and insisted the player is not for sale. United also retain an interest in Everton's Marouane Fellaini but it is understood to be seen as separate to the pursuit of an all-round attacking midfielder of Fabregas' ilk.

Red Devils will have to look elsewhere now for a new creative playmaker.
Manchester United’s hopes of signing Real Madrid midfield player Luka Modric this summer have taken a blow after it emerged that los Blancos intend to keep hold of their Croatia international next season partly as a means of convincing Tottenham Hotspur’s Gareth Bale to make the move to the Santiago Bernabeu, reports the DailyMail.
The Premier League champions had been hoping to be able to lure first-choice target Cesc Fabregas away from FC Barcelona during the close-season transfer window.
However, having already had two bids of £25 million and then £30m for the Spain international rejected by the Liga champions, new Red Devils head coach David Moyes is said to now be weighing up making a third offer worth a club-record £35m for the playmaker.
But even that is likely to fail, with the player believed to be keen to remain at Camp Nou next season and fight for his starting place in the Barca midfield.
All of which means that the Scot is set to switch his focus towards Madrid’s Croatian star, who only moved to the Spanish capital last August from Tottenham for £33m, although those plans may also be about to hit the buffers following the news that the Liga giants are determined to hold on to the 27-year-old this summer come what may.
Modric, who registered four goals and eight assists in his 53 matches in his debut campaign at the Bernabeu, is expected to be used next season to help potential new signing Bale settle in at the world’s biggest club, meaning United will again have to look elsewhere for a new creative midfield player for the upcoming campaign.
